As the General Manager of Excel Hosted Services, Shamess has been dedicated to reinvigorating the Answering Service industry. He brings 18 years of industry experience with him, including 5 years as the COO of Startel Corporation where he was vital in rebuilding the struggling software company. His time there provided him with a unique knowledge of the Startel products and their capabilities. Shamess has created a solid technical environment at Excel that is able to seamlessly share resources across several sites and include the redundancy necessary to keep the systems running 24/7/365. His understanding of the core systems allows us the ability to integrate multiple sites while sharing the telephone resources.

The CFO of our company started out years ago in the business as a telephone agent for an Answering Service in Bloomington, IN. She quickly took over any and all functions of the service, then moved to Phoenix where she brought her exceptional management skills to another Answering Service. After working for “the man” for too many years, she decided to move to Southern California to start her own Answering Service. Since then, she has thrived and grown the business responsibly and profitably.

After spending the 60’s in the library, Roger was able to build a successful career as a Consulting Electrical Engineer. He traveled all over the world building power plants and transmission lines for cities. His experience in consulting with municipalities and corporations alike has been very beneficial to Excel. Roger has been diligent in making sure that all of Excel’s business decisions are sound and that Excel and our clients are always well protected.
